The Clash: Revolution Rock

CFRE will be broadcasting a new one-hour radio special about The Clash on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 11AM-NOON EST.
This special will feature many of their best-known anthems and fan favorites from their classic albums, singles, and previously unreleased live tracks. Recent and vintage interview clips of The Clash’s members include rare footage collected from throughout their 77-83 heyday and insightful Joe Strummer comments recorded shortly before his death in 2002. Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), film director Julien Temple and others discuss how The Clash affected their lives, and why they are still “the only band that matters.”
We will be re-broadcasting the Revolution Rock segment on Thursday April 24, 2008 from NOON-1PM EST.
